Mr.Likit Sainoo, Head of fluid mechanics, accompanied with his staff warm welcomed Khun Kanjana Suaysom, Environmentalist from Pollution Control Department (PCD) to site-visit and meeting about the ongoing projects and gained knowledge about the calibration of anemometer to reference tools. NIMT and PCD have a mutual agreement to conduct the 3rd sub-project related to air quality measurement on the project of reliability development in anemometer to under the MoU between both two organizations. It was held at Phadung Matra building, NIMT, Phathum Thani on 10 August 2022.

A ventilator, aka “Breathing machine” is a machine that some COVID-19 patients need help to breathe. It is used to aid the function of the lungs to blow air into the lungs, helping to maintain proper levels of oxygen in the blood.
NIMT realizes that the standard measurement for the machine is highly important. In order to reduce a risk from any errors and treatment. Therefore, NIMT opens a new calibration service for the ventilator so far.

Ms. Charuayrat Yaokulbodee, Acting Head of Thermometry and Optical Metrology Department and NIMT staff paid a technical visit to National Institute of Metrology (NIM) between 7 – 13 July 2019 on Metrology on medical devices and food safety at Changping Campus and Hepingli Campus, NIM, Beijing, China.
The aims of this visiting were to technical exchange related to medical devices and food safety labs and activities as following;
This project was supported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Sciences, Research and Innovation (MHESI) (former-the Ministry of Sciences and Technology (MOST)) under the Thailand – China Sciences and Technology Cooperation. It was the first project on medical devices and food safety metrology which continue exchanging and joining researches between NIMT and NIM further.
