BANGKOK — The National Institute of Metrology (Thailand), or NIMT, proudly hosted the International Measurement Confederation (IMEKO) General Council (GC) Meetings on August 24–25, 2026. This landmark event brought together global leaders, technical experts, and metrology delegates from around the world to shape the future of international measurement science and collaboration.
The two-day high-level gathering featured critical strategic discussions, administrative updates, and future planning for the global metrology community.
As the host organization, NIMT demonstrated its continued commitment to advancing global metrology standards, fostering international cooperation, and strengthening Thailand’s role as a regional hub for measurement science and technology innovation.
