Dr. Khanistha Leetang, from National Institute of Metrology (Thailand) (NIMT), participated in the 13th UEC Seminar in ASEAN, Fiscal 2026 and the 8th ASEAN-UEC Workshop on Informatics and Engineering, held on 5–6 September 2026 at Multimedia University, Malaysia.
During the event, Dr. Khanistha delivered a presentation entitled “IoT-Based Weather Monitoring System”, highlighting the application of wind-speed measurement and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for data processing.
The participation provided an opportunity to strengthen academic networks in wind-speed measurement and AI, while promoting NIMT’s capabilities in integrating measurement technologies with AI applications. The knowledge and connections gained from the event may also support future collaboration on IoT and AI-based systems for evaluating the performance of wind turbines for electricity generation.
