Dr. Jariya Buajarern, Metrology Expert from the National Institute of Metrology (Thailand) (NIMT) attended the Asian Productivity Organization’s (APO) International Conference on Green Productivity 2.0, jointly organized by the LUMS Energy Institute (LEI), National Productivity Organization Pakistan (NPO), and the Federal Ministry of Industries & Production on 28-29 November 2025 at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Pakistan.
The event gathered government officials, industry leaders, academics, experts, and development practitioners from 21 APO member economies—including Italy, Japan, Thailand, China, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Türkiye, Vietnam, Pakistan, and etc.—to showcase advanced research and practical innovations shaping the future of green productivity across the region. The program featured plenary sessions, keynote presentations, and sector-focused discussions covering themes such as industrial growth, energy, oil and gas sector, and the circular economy. The conference was recognized as one of Pakistan’s most notable international forums on sustainable industrial transformation.
Dr. Jariya’s participation underscored NIMT’s strong commitment to advancing sustainable industrial development, strengthened multisector collaboration among APO member countries, and reinforced global competitiveness in the industrial economy.
