NIMT organizes training course on length measurement for UzNIM

The National Institute of Metrology (Thailand) (NIMT) successfully organized a training course on Length Measurement from 28 July to 8 August 2025. This course  was a part of the PTB project “Supporting the Reform of the National Quality Infrastructure in Uzbekistan”, aiming at strengthening the measurement capabilities of Uzbekistan to align with international recognition.

During the program, Mr. Shakhzod Kurbanov and Ms. Dildora Turdibaeva engaged in an in-depth study of length measurement – both theoretical framework and practical applications. The sessions were expertly delivered by Dr. Wiroj  Sudatham, and his assistant, Dr. Ketsaya Vacharanukul. Together they shared the technical knowledge and extensive professional experience. By the conclusion of the course, participants had acquired a comprehensive understanding and enhanced technical skills applicable to their respective professional roles.

Under PTB’ generous support, the achievement of this program represented a significant milestone in advancing UzNIM’s measurement capabilities and optimizing the calibration system. This project further reinforced the metrological cooperation among NIMT, PTB, and UzNIM, encompassing current partnerships and paving the way for future collaborative initiatives.
