On 23 June 2025, a delegation from NIMT visited Innovative Nanotech Inc., a spin-off company of CMS/ITRI.
Innovative Nanotech Inc. is known for transforming advanced research in nanometrology and precision measurement into commercially viable products and solutions. The company focuses on nanoscale measurement instrumentation, precision positioning systems, and metrology solutions tailored for the semiconductor and advanced manufacturing industries.
During the visit, NIMT delegates were introduced to the company’s latest innovations and business model, which demonstrates a successful pathway from national metrology research to industrial application. Discussions also highlighted the role of spin-off enterprises in accelerating technology transfer, fostering innovation ecosystems, and meeting the needs of high-precision industries.
This visit provided NIMT with valuable insights into the commercialization of metrology technologies and inspired ideas for promoting similar initiatives in Thailand. Strengthening ties with industry-oriented metrology ventures aligns with NIMT’s strategic goals to enhance national capabilities in emerging technologies and support the development of Thailand’s high-value manufacturing sector.
