NIMT celebrates World Metrology Day and the 26th anniversary under the concept “We measure today for a sustainable tomorrow”

The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) by the National Institute of Metrology (Thailand) (NIMT) organized a seminar to celebrate World Metrology Day and the 26th anniversary of NIMT under the concept  “We measure today for a sustainable tomorrow” on 20 May 2024 at Sapphire Room 204-206, 2nd floor, IMPACT Forum Building, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi Province. The event was presided over by Ms. Supamas Isarabhakdi, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) and a Chairman of the National Metrology Committee.  At this event, it was an honor to receive a joint message presented by Mr. Anthony Donnellan, the Director of the BIML, and a congratulatory message presented by Dr. Hyun-Min Park, a Chairman of the Asia Pacific Metrology Programme (APMP Chair). In addition, Dr. Hongtao HUANG, an expert from the National Institute of Metrology, China (NIM) gave a special talk on the topic “New Energy Vehicles and NIM’s Support to Its Development”.

In the afternoon, there were small group discussions (divided into 5 Breakout rooms) between stakeholders regarding the national quality infrastructure (NQI) to create understanding and drive future collaboration.
