On 29 April 2024, Pol.Lt.Gen. Pornchai Suteerakune, Director, along with Mr. Anusorn Tonmueanwai, Deputy Director and NIMT executives attended the ceremony of signing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the National Institute of Metrology (Thailand) (NIMT) and Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (TISTR). The purpose of MoU was to appoint TISTR as the Designated Institute (DI) for the development of national measurement in the field of chemical metrology, enhance measurement capabilities, transfer standard value to the users in the country, strengthen metrology system as well as establish the international recognition. It was held at Administration building, TISTR, Pathumthani province.
