It is one of the activities in the project “Developing a pressure calibration manual to guide technical audits and a network of pressure calibration laboratories for the industry under the research plan for capacity promoting and building, and expand the scope of NQI that has been granted by the office of National Higher Education Science Research and Innovation Policy Council (NXPO). The objective of this seminar was to develop the potential of pressure calibration laboratories and to provide a central standard for technical assessment guidance for pressure calibration laboratories including to build a network of national pressure calibration laboratories and collect data on high-pressure measurement applications in the domestic high-pressure food processing industry.
The first day of the seminar (October 4, 2022) had a lecture on the topic “Scope, Definition and Requirements of Laboratory Quality System according to ISO/IEC 17025: 2017” by Mr. Wirun Laopornpichayanuwat, Head of Mechanical Metrology and Ms. Panatda Panpetch, metrologist senior professional level from Primary Temperature Standards Group, Thermometry and Optical Metrology Department. The second day of the seminar (October 5, 2022) also featured the same topic. It furthered sharing experiences in preparing for submitting its application in the field of Calibration of Pressure Measuring Instruments. It was lectured by Flg.Lt.
