Pol. Lt. Gen. Pornchai Suteerakune, Director of NIMT, and Ms. Charuayrat Yaokulbodee, Head of the Thermometry and Optical Metrology Department and Quality Manager, together with NIMT executives, metrologists, and the Quality Management System team, welcomed the assessment team conducting the ISO/IEC 17025 assessment of NIMT’s Humidity Laboratory on 2 November 2026.
The assessment team comprised quality management system assessors from the Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI), accompanied by an international technical assessor, Dr. Hisashi Abe from the National Metrology Institute of Japan (NMIJ).
The assessment aimed to evaluate the laboratory’s compliance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025, with a focus on ensuring the technical competence, reliability, and quality of its measurement and calibration activities in the field of humidity measurement.
This assessment demonstrates NIMT’s continued commitment to maintaining internationally recognized quality standards, enhancing laboratory competence, and ensuring confidence in the accuracy and reliability of its measurement capabilities and services.
