Mr. Pollawat Jamparuang and Mr. Puriwat Atigool from the National Institute of Metrology (Thailand) (NIMT) participated in the Training Workshop on PV Metrology and Testing, hosted by the National Institute of Metrology of China (NIM), in the People’s Republic of China during 15–29 April 2026. The workshop focused on photovoltaic (PV) metrology and testing techniques, with the objective of enhancing technical competencies in solar cell measurements.
The participation aimed to strengthen NIMT’s technical capabilities and expertise in photovoltaic metrology and testing, which play an important role in supporting the development, reliability, and quality assurance of solar energy technologies. The training also provided valuable opportunities for hands-on experience with advanced measurement techniques and exposure to international best practices in renewable energy applications.
In summary, the participation of NIMT representatives in this international workshop reflects the institute’s commitment to strengthening technical expertise and advancing measurement capabilities in photovoltaic metrology and testing. The knowledge and experience gained from the training will contribute to supporting research, innovation, and quality infrastructure development in renewable energy technologies in Thailand.
