On 16 September 2024, Pol.Lt.Gen. Pornchai Suteerakune, Director of NIMT, warmly welcomed Prof. Dr. Erhard Weilandt and Dr. Leonard Klaus, the experts from the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB), as NIMT honorary speakers for the seminar on “Seismic sensors and their calibrations”. This seminar aimed to share knowledge and experience on measurement and calibration of seismic sensors among the participants from government and private sectors. The outcome of this activity will lead to the reliability of calibration methods, including the future collaboration of reviewing a drafted announcement on the seismic probes calibration. It was held at NIMT’s Matra Dhamrong building, Pathumthani province.
