It is our great pleasure and honour to host the coming APMP Mid-Year Meetings and Related Activities 2016 (APMP-MY-2016) in Bangkok during June 6-10, 2016. All NIMTians have been working very hard preparing the program of the meeting so as to fulfil the objectives and fully satisfy our colleagues.
In the APMP-MY-2016, we highlighted issues that concern our DEC NMIs such as how to efficiently develop our organizations to fulfill expectation of our stakeholders. We had one “full” day to listen to and exchange with our colleagues who have been working on this issue with passion, most of their lives, and also to share our experiences among ourselves.
On the other hand, we also had another “full” day to highlight contributions of metrology to the advancement of humanity, in terms of “Quality” and Quality Culture. The day started, in the morning, with three keynotes from Dr. Barry Inglis, the President of CIPM, Dr. Ryoji Chubachi, the President of AIST, Japan and Dr. Pichet Durongkaveroj, the Minister of Science and Technology, Thailand. In the afternoon, we had four parallel sessions presenting cases related to APMP Focus Areas and industrial utilizations.
The APMP Mid-Year Meeting 2016 was hold during 6th to 10th of June 2016 at Dusit Thani hotel, Bangkok, Thailand.
