Dr. Padipat Wongthep and Dr. Theerarak Chinarak, from NIMT, undertook a technical mission to Europe from 16–19 March 2026 to strengthen international collaboration in the field of high-pressure gas flow measurement.
During the visit, they held technical discussions and exchanged expertise with FORCE Technology in Denmark, as well as VSL and Euroloop in the Netherlands. The discussions focused on advancing measurement techniques and ensuring that ongoing work—particularly under the high-pressure gas flow project in collaboration with PTTLNG—aligns with international standards and best practices.
The mission provided valuable insights into advanced measurement systems and practices adopted in Europe, while also fostering opportunities for future cooperation between NIMT and its international counterparts. The knowledge gained is expected to contribute to improving the efficiency and accuracy of high-pressure gas flow measurement systems in Thailand.
