This year, NIMT was exhibited on the theme “NQI develops Thai herb to the world”. It was orchestrated a story about National Quality Infrastructure (NQI) that supports herb safety chain to be a pilot study from Fha Talai Joen (Green chiretta or Andrographis paniculata). Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and health care trend by natural way and chemical avoidance. Hears become one of the natural material for health and wellness business sectors around the world. The Thai government recognizes a variety of opportunities to gain income to Thai agriculturists. It generates business returns to Thai entrepreneurs sustainably. NIMT sets policies to promote the herbal production chain at all levels from upstream, midstream to downstream. NQI will be one process to lift Thai herb, unlock business limits. NQI will be one of the processes to lift up Thai herb, unlock business limits, and build economic value added to Thailand. It leads to building standards and safety including to build consumer confidence and raise Thai herbal products to be sold in both domestic and abroad.

“NQI develops Thai herb to the world” is a project under the NQI development cooperation among NIMT, Phatum Thani Provincial Health Office , and Nong Sua hospital Ministry of Health to support Thai herbal development. There are 5 elements consisting of S : Standards, M : Metrology, A : Accreditation, C : Conformity Assessment and M : Market Surveillance. It is the NQI system that will be impelled Thai herbal market to the international trade sustainably. See the NQI system background in YouTube channel : https://www.youtube.com/user/nimt2541/videos (in Thai). NIMT exhibitions are fully available online at http://mx.nimt.or.th/?p=14317
