Training Section, Policy and Strategy Department arranged a training under the topic “The Calibration of Standard Weight According to OIML R 111-1 and Large Weight” gave a lecture by Mr.Wirun  LAOPORNPICHAYANUWAT, Metrologist from Mass Laboratory, Mechanical Metrology Department to participants from both government and industrial sectors.  The objective was to enhance the participants to identify the meaning of mass, weight, apparent mass and be able to understand the requirement of the convention mass metrology and technical standards of weights according to OIML R 111-1.  Be able to choose the correct equipment to be used and do the maintenance for both standard weight and electric scales.   The training was held at Administration building, NIMT, Pathum Thani province.

Training Section, Policy and Strategy Department arranged a training under the topic “The Calibration of Infrared Radiation Thermometer” gave a lecture by Dr. Narudom NOULKHOW and Dr. Thada  KEAWPRASERT, Metrologist from Temperature Laboratory, Thermometry Metrology Department to participants from both government and industrial sectors.  The objective was to enhance the participants to understand the principles of the radiation thermometer and can adjust the value of the coefficient of radiation in the IR Thermometer calibration process.  The function was held at the Administration building, NIMT, Pathum Thani province.

On 37^th MOST Anniversary, Mr. Pichet  DURONGKAVEROJ, Minister of Science and Technology presided over the Ceremony of Certificate for Outstanding Employees Award 2015. On this occasion, Miss Thaniya  CHAMPIRANOND, Head of Documentation Section, NIMT received this award. The function was held at Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), Bangkok.

Training Section, Policy and Strategy Department arranged a training under the topic of “Uncertainty of Measurement” gave a lecture by Dr. Jariya BUAJARERN, Metrologist from Surface Textures Laboratory, Dimensional Metrology Department to the participants from both government and private sectors.  The objective of this training was to enable participants to understand the evaluation of measurement uncertainty followed by Guide to the expression of Uncertainty in Measurement (GUM) including comprehensive reporting uncertainties identified with calibration certificate and can apply it to their work correctly.  The training was held at the Administration building, NIMT, Pathum Thani province.

Mrs. Ajchara  CHAROENSOOK, NIMT Deputy Director, presided over a seminar under the topic “Simplifying RF Calibration – The Modern Way by Fluke” gave a lecture by Mr. Bill GAVIRIA, Regional Product Manager, Electrical, RF and Software from Fluke Calibration.  The objective was to disseminate knowledge in the field of radio frequency and microwave calibration to club members at Administration building, NIMT, Pathum Thani province.

Flow Laboratory, Mechanical Metrology Department arranged a meeting with Flow Club member.  The objective of the meeting was to discuss and review the guideline of Standard Procedures for Testing of Infusion Pump, to report the results of the operations, to discuss the preparation of the standard method for calibration of Infusion Pump Analyzer and discuss the guidelines for the conduct comparative measurements in the measuring 10-1000. ml per hour for Infusion pump analyzer to an interesting agency.  The meeting was held at Phadungmat building, NIMT, Pathum Thani province.

Mr. Prayoon  SHIOWATTANA, NIMT Director together with executives welcomed executives and management coordinator from Toyota Motor Asia Pacific Engineering & Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (TMAP-EM) and representatives of the member states on the occasion of visiting NIMT laboratories.  The objective of this visit was to enhance and understanding to increase confidence and cooperation between member states in the future.  The function was held at  held at Phadungmat building, NIMT, Pathum Thani province.

Mr. Anusorn TONMUENWAI, Head of Dimensional Metrology Department, welcomed the 4^th year undergraduate students and professor from Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Technology and Engineering Management, Asian University on the occasion of visiting Electrical Metrology Laboratories.  The objective was to enhance knowledge and experience to the students prior to the actual operation.  The function was held at Phadungmat building, NIMT, Pathum Thani province.

Technical Center Co., Ltd. on the occasion of laboratory visiting to Thermometry Laboratory including Industrial Platinum Resistance Thermometer calibration.  The objective was to give knowledge and experience to employees for their work in the future.  The function was held at Phadungmat building, NIMT, Pathum Thani province.
