NIMT runs training on “Control system for measuring instruments according to the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001” Batch 3


NIMT Organized an online course training on “Control system for measuring instruments according to the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001” Batch 3 to participants from both the public and private sectors. A trainer of the course was Dr. Monthon Homklintian, Acting Leader of Primary Electrical, Time and Frequency Standard Group. The purpose of the course is to understand the national metrology system and National Quality Infrastructure (NQI), understanding the importance of accurate measurements and metrological traceability, how to assess the uncertainty, and the requirements for measuring instrument accuracy and the metrological traceability in accordance with ISO 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001. Besides that, the participants will be able to manage the measuring instrument control system according to the requirements. This training was online at the developing measurement standards to support the rail system development building, NIMT, Pathum Thani province on May 26 – 27, 2022.

Instrument control system complies with ISO9001 ISO17025 ISO14001 and ISO18001 training (Online)

NIMT is organizing a course in “Instrument control system complies with ISO9001 ISO17025 ISO14001 and ISO18001” that is online between 26 – 27 October 2021 from NIMT Phatum Thani.
The course is taught by Dr.Monthon Homklintian, a professional metrologist in direct current, low frequency, high frequency and electromagnetics. Almost attendees are people working as engineers, instrument calibration technicians, instrument quality control managers in the factories. Dr.Monthon is talking about the overview of the national quality infrastructure (NQI), traceability, and uncertainty assessment. He also teaches over the metrological requirements complying with ISO9001 ISO17025 ISO14001 and ISO18001. This course has received well feedbacks and opened continuously.

NIMT online training on Understanding and Interpretation of Calibration Certificate (Batch 2)

NIMT’s corporation and partnership development department organized an online training on “Understanding and Interpretation of Calibration Certificate (Batch 2)” on January 25, 2021 online from NIMT, Pathum Thani.


Dr. Monthon Homklintian, NIMT’s professional direct current, low frequency, high frequency and electromagnetics metrologists was a trainer and gave a lecture on the significance of measuring instrument calibration report. The participants would be able to understand and describe metrological terms which have appeared on the certification, understand critical parts of the certification, implement traceability, and take data on the certification to evaluate the uncertainty.

Seminar on “the expression of Uncertainty in Measurement” batch 2 at NIMT

NIMT’s corporation and partnership development department organized a seminar on the expression of Uncertainty in Measurement batch 2. There were numbers of seminar participants from the public and private sectors attended. This seminar training speakers were NIMT’s professional direct current, low frequency, high frequency and electromagnetics metrologists; Dr. Monthon Homklintian and Mrs. Natenapit Khunmthukthit.

A focus point in the seminar emphasized on the guide to the expression of Uncertainty in Measurement (GUM). The participants would gain their new knowledge and able to utilize to the testing result or laboratory’s calibration result report and more well understanding relevant into the result that has been appeared in the certificate. The seminar was held between 17 – 18 December 2020 at NIMT’s Matra Dumrong bldg., Pathum Thani.
