Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy – National Institute of Metrology (Thailand)

Dr. Thayathip Thongton, Metrologist Senior Professional Level from Time and Frequency Laboratory, Electrical Metrology Department welcomed Colonel Suranarong Pullsub, Head of Education Department, Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy (CRMA), accompanied with 2 military officers and 35 second- and third-year cadets of the Engineering Program in Surveying and Mapping. The colonel and cadets visited time and frequency laboratory, pressure and vacuum laboratory, and dimensional measurement laboratory. The purpose of this visit was to increase knowledge and experience, which benefit to the cadets’ future education. This visit was held at the Rail System Development Building, and Phadung Matra Building, NIMT Pathum Thani province on 7 November 2022.

On Wednesday, November 17, 2021, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously presided over the “Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy Academic Exhibition 2021” between 16 – 17 November 2021 at Chulachomklao Royal Military academy, Nakhon Nayok province. On this occasion, HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn watched NIMT exhibition. Dr. Charun Yafa, Assistant Director of NIMT and staff members welcomed Her Royal Highness at the opening ceremony.

Dr.Charun Yafa, Assistant Director of NIMT was reporting NIMT projects to HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.

Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy Academic Exhibition is organized to contribute a research included to promote and extend an academic collaboration between Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy, educational organization, and public and private agencies. As of 2021 academic year, there were 27 organizations joined the exhibition. NIMT presentation was a topic on “Very high frequency measurement for 5G communication era” that was divided to 3 projects; 1) Time Synchronization through Digital and Internet Network, 2) Electrical power in high frequency regimes and 3) Global Navigation Satellite System, (GNSS)

: Dr. Charun Yafa presented a token to Lt.Gen. Chaiyasit Preeyanupab Director of Royal Thai Survey Department Royal Thai Survey Department.

: Dr. Thayathip Thongtan presented a token to Lt. Gen. Piyapong Klinphan, Superintendent of Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy (CRMA)
