Online training on “The Estimation of Measurement Uncertainty in DNA quantification measurement”

The Estimation of Measurement Uncertainty in DNA quantification measurement was held online from NIMT, Phathum Thani between 13-14 September 2021.
This training has been trained by professional metrologists Dr.Phattaraporn Morris and Dr.Kanjana Hongthong from the Department of Chemical Metrology and Biometry.
The training participants would be learnt about the Thailand Reference Material (TMT) for DNA analysis laboratory.

Natural Resources and Environmental Crime Division, The Royal Thai Police visits NIMT

Deputy Director of NIMT Mr.Anusorn Tonmueanwai and his NIMT staff members welcomed Pol.Maj.Gen. Pitak Uthaitham of the Natural Resources and Environmental Crime Division, The Royal Thai Police joined discussions about the action development plan under the personnel, research and innovation development plan for people’s life safety and property industrial accreditation. Pol.Maj.Gen. Pitak visited Chemical Metrology & Biometry labs. During the discussion, both parties agreed to exchange knowledge and experts together for tighter coordination on chemical & biometry metrology. The discussion held on March 22, 2021 at Matra Dhamrong building, NIMT.

pH Meter Calibration training at NIMT

NIMT arranged a training on the topic “pH Meter Calibration” to give knowledge to the public, private and industrial sectors. The training was lectured by Ms.Patumpron Rodruangtham and Mr.Thawatchat Lokanung, Chemical Metrology and Biometry’s Senior Metrologist. The aim of training was that the participants would be able to calibrate and evaluate uncertainty from the air humidity meter. The training was held on August 28, 2020 at the NIMT Central Administration building, Phatum Thani province.
