A working group of drafting a calibration, measurement and traceability guideline on medical devices organized medical metrology training on the topic “Ventilator” that was lectured by Asst. Prof. Arthorn Sanpanich, D.Eng., from Center for Biomedical Instrument, Institute of Molecular Biosciences, Mahidol University, Salaya campus.

Training Division, the Corporation and Partnership Development Group organized a training on “The Calibration and Uncertainty Evaluation of Dial Gauge Testing /  Calibration Tester” that was given training by Dr. Muhummad Madden, Nano Metrologist, Professional.

The objectives of this training were 1) the participants will be able to use, calibrate and maintain the Dial Gauge Tester / Calibration Tester, and 2) the participants will be able to evaluate an uncertainty correctly at Phadung Matra building, NIMT head office, Phatum Thani province on July 22-23, 2020.

NIMT Training: “The Calibration of Infrared Thermometer”

Training Division, the Corporation and Partnership Development Group organized a training on “the Calibration of Infrared Thermometer” that was given a lecture to the public, private and industrial participants by Dr.-Ing. Narudom Noulkhow, the acting head of the Corporation and Partnership Development Group.

The purposes of this course were to learn and understand about Noncontact thermometer, IR thermometer usage, Standard temperature source, IR thermometer traceability at ice-point, valued adjust due to the emissivity in the process of calibration, uncertainty evaluation, and the issuance and interpretation of the calibration certificate. The course was held at the administration department building, NIMT head office, Phatum Thani on July 15-17, 2020.

The participants was in practice the tools.

Training for Ventilator Analyzer under the theme “Medical Hub”

Mrs. Ajchara Charoensook, Director of NIMT opened a training for Ventilator Analyzer under the Project of Potential Industrial Competitive Enhancement on Regional Medical Hub with International Standards. Participants came from private and public sectors to attend this training. A trainer was Application Manager, Mr. Watcharapong Thongratkaew from Draeger Medical (Thailand) Ltd. The training was held at NIMT, Khlong Ha, Pathum Thani province on 13 July 2020.

Main purposed of this training was to draft a guideline for medical calibration, measurement, and traceability.

Director welcomed participants and expressed the purpose of the training.

Participants from both private and public sectors.
