Hybrid Learning on Calibration of thermocouples and thermocouple indicators

NIMT Training organized Hybrid Learning which allows trainees would be able to choose to attend the learning online or on-site at NIMT. Some would learn online associated with theory contents, and later come to practice on-site. The topic of the training was “Calibration of thermocouples and thermocouple indicators”. All trainees came from public organizations, private agencies, and some industrials. They would be able to calibrate and evaluate the uncertainty of thermocouples and thermocouple. For this course, the trainers were Dr.Oijai Ongrai and Mr.Amorntep Leekriangkrai, metrologists from Temperature Dissemination Group. When the trainees finished this training, they would learn and understand about the foundation of temperature, temperature measuring, thermocouple circus and etc. The training was online and on-site at the meeting room on the 3rd floor of the Measurement Standard Development Building to support the development of the rail system, NIMT, Pathum Thani province on June 8-10, 2022.

Training on the calibration of digital thermometers

The Corporation and Partnership Development Group, Policy and Strategy Development arranged a seminar on the calibration of Digital Thermometer, during March 22-23, 2021 at Matra Dhamrong Building, National Institute of Metrology (Thailand). In this regard, Dr. Oijai Ongrai and Mr.Amorntep Leekriangkrai, metrologists from Temperature Dissemination Group were training speakers to distribute knowledge and make understanding to various participants from both public and private sectors. The participants will be knowledgeable about the calibration of digital thermometers.

Training on the verification of Temperature Measuring Devices

NIMT’s Training Division arranged a training on “The verification of Temperature Measuring Devices” that lectured to the public, private and industrial sector participants by NIMT Metrologist, Professional Dr. Oijai Ongrai and Metrologist, Practitioner Mr. Amorntep Leekriangkrai, Temperature Scale Dissemination and Humidity Group, Thermometry and Optical Metrology Department.

The training aimed to gain knowledge on the principle and caution of the thermometers. The important thing is that, the participants would be able to utilise them, understand the devises’ calibration and apply the devises’ calibration certification effectively. They also would be able to verify the thermometers by Ice Point.
The training arranged on September 9, 2020 at the NIMT Central Administration building, Phatum Thani province.
