NIMT trains on “Calibration of Electrical Calibrators”

NIMT organized a metrology training course on the topic “Calibration of Electrical Calibrators” for participants from both public, private and industry sectors. They will be able to calibrate all calibrator functions and know the measurement technique that impacts on measurement. Also, they are able to assess the uncertainty of the measurement, write the calibration procedure correctly, and read the calibration report. Trainer of the training was Mr. Adithep Jang-On (main trainer), an expert metrologist and Mr. Kongsak Thongboon (assistant trainer) from Electrical Power and High-accuracy Electrical Measuring Instrument Group. The participants will learn its theory related to calibrators, traceability, effects of calibration, calibrator Manuals using and multi-product calibrators. They will be able to apply the knowledge to practical application. The training was held at the meeting room on the 3rd floor of the Measurement Standard Development Building to support the rail system development, NIMT, Pathum Thani province on May 23-25, 2022.

Training on “Calibration-principle and Practical Verification”

Training Division, the Corporation and Partnership Development Group organized a training on “Calibration-principle and Practical Verification” that was given training by Mr.Kongsak Thongboon and Mr.Adithep Jang-On, Electrical Power and High-accuracy Electrical Measuring Instrument Metrologists, Professional.

The aims of this training were 1) the participants will be able to calibrate the foundation of Digital Multimeters <½ Digits, 2) the participants will be able to interpret the Calibration Certificate after the calibration. Furthermore, they have learnt the technique and effect on measurement, and will be able to maintain the calibrator correctly at the administration department building, NIMT head office, Phatum Thani province on July 22-23, 2020.
