Time & Frequency Laboratory

Introduction

NIMT is the national metrology institute established by National Metrology System Development Act., B.E. 2540 since June 1, 1998. NIMT is responsible for the establishment, maintenance and dissemination of the primary and national standards. The impedance laboratory is under the NIMT and it has the responsibility to maintain and disseminate the quantities of AC resistance, capacitance and inductance. The impedance laboratory supports calibrations and applications of impedance in electronics, communications, manufacturing, medical and other fields.
