The DEC-MEDEA Workshop on “Leading your NMI to 2035”

The DEC-MEDEA Workshop on “Leading your NMI to 2035” is scheduled on Friday 11 November 2022. This Workshop is jointly organized by the DEC Leadership & Management and Future Proofing Task Forces (Led by Dr. Jariya Buajarern) and the MEDEA Project.
The Workshop is intended to stretch all of us in envisaging what role our national metrology institute might be playing in 2035. The key objective is to provide DEC member institutes with the opportunity to consider potential future scenarios, factoring in for example, advances in science and technology (including, but not limited to, digital transformation), the changing geopolitical environment, cross-border challenges such as the pandemic, and other disruptors that will require all of us to think beyond the traditional roles played by NMIs.
