NIMT’s precision engineering metrology group aims to establish, develop, and maintain the national measurement standards related to angle, diameter and coordinate related measurement. The precision engineering metrology group consists of 3 laboratories: angle standard laboratory, diameter standard laboratory and coordinate metrology laboratory. The group provides over 55 measurands and plan to expand scope of the related measurement. The group also undertake research and development to reduce measurement uncertainties
