Our missions, roles, and responsibilities are
- prepare marketing plan.
- conduct marketing research.
- provide services and information to users to make them understand how beneficial and necessary our metrological services to their work.
- set marketing target.
- plan marketing strategy.
- develop new services and ideas for NIMT to meet the needs of users, population, and nation following the institute’s objectives.
- monitor and evaluate the information in order to expand the market to cover both domestic and foreign users.
- develop IT system for marketing planning, service providing, and the development of services innovation and service providing methods.
- estimate revenue from services providing and reference materials.
- act as a one-stop center to provide calibration services.
- give advices and suggestions to customers.
- distribute reference materials and standard substances.
- maintain customer’s measuring instruments.
- get custom clearance for foreign customer’s instruments.
- collect payment from customer and deliver to finance department.
- prepare calibration plan.
- prepare training schedule.
- provide knowledge related to metrology and other services according to NIMT’s responsibilities.
- implement policy in effect.
- receive complaints and suggestions to improve service providing effectiveness and efficiency.
- monitor and evaluate the implementation of marketing plan and service providing by obtaining comprehensive information to improve the plans, projects, and activities in order to increase effectiveness and efficiency in service quality, marketing, and customer services as well as other activities to satisfy customers, population, society, and other organizations under the supervision of a department’s director.
