The ASEAN Expert Group on Metrology (EGM) successfully conducted its Bi-Monthly Training Session on 29 April 2026, held online as a full-day session. The training brought together participants from across ASEAN to strengthen technical knowledge and enhance regional collaboration in dimensional metrology.<\/p>\n
The session was officially opened by Mr. Kong Pagnarith of the National Metrology Center (NMC), Cambodia, as EGM Vice Chair. In his opening remarks, he emphasized the importance of continuous capacity building and knowledge sharing among ASEAN National Metrology Institutes (NMIs) to ensure measurement reliability and international recognition.<\/p>\n
The training was delivered by Dr. Wiroj Sudatham, Senior Metrologist from NIMT.\u00a0 His lecture focused on \u201cAcceptance and Reverification Tests for Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM),” providing both fundamental concepts and practical insights relevant to laboratory applications.<\/p>\n
