{"id":11588,"date":"2025-12-10T15:28:48","date_gmt":"2025-12-10T08:28:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.nimt.or.th\/?p=11588"},"modified":"2025-12-25T15:32:27","modified_gmt":"2025-12-25T08:32:27","slug":"nimt-contributes-to-the-global-celebration-of-bipm150","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.nimt.or.th\/?p=11588","title":{"rendered":"NIMT Contributes to the Global Celebration of BIPM150"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dr. Sivinee Sawatdiaree, representing NIMT, delivered a short national contribution during a special online event marking the conclusion of the 150th anniversary of the Metre Convention (BIPM150), organized by the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM).<\/p>\n<p>The event, held on 10 December 2025, brought together the global metrology community to reflect on a landmark year celebrating the legacy of the Metre Convention\u2014which laid the foundation for international cooperation in measurement science and established the BIPM as one of the world\u2019s earliest international organizations.<\/p>\n<p>On behalf of NIMT, Dr. Sivinee shared Thailand\u2019s BIPM150-related activities and national engagement, highlighting NIMT\u2019s contributions to strengthening measurement standards, international traceability, and collaboration within the global metrology system.<\/p>\n<p>The programme also featured:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;
