Metrology Training (March 23-25, 2016)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Training Section, Policy and Strategy Department arranged a training under the topic \u201cThe Calibration of Standard Weight According to OIML R 111-1 and Large Weight\u201d gave a lecture by Mr.Wirun\u00a0 LAOPORNPICHAYANUWAT, Metrologist from Mass Laboratory, Mechanical Metrology Department to participants from both government and industrial sectors.\u00a0 The objective was to enhance the participants to identify the meaning of mass, weight, apparent mass and be able to understand the requirement of the convention mass metrology and technical standards of weights according to OIML R 111-1.\u00a0 Be able to choose the correct equipment to be used and do the maintenance for both standard weight and
