      Under the organization structure of the chemical metrology and biometry department, the gas analysis group contains four laboratories. This includes the laboratories of emission and industrial gas analysis, environmental gas analysis, energy gas analysis and high purity gas analysis. The group has the objective to provide an accurate measurement and traceability in gas analysis. The ultimate goal in this area is to establish the national reference covering the measurements of environmental gases, energy gases, industrial emission gases, vehicle emission gases, process control gases, high purity gases, medical gases, global climate change, aerosol and ambient air quality<\/p>\n

      The group provides services in the area of preparation of gas standards and calibration of gas mixtures and gas analyzer including gas sensors and detectors. The gas certified reference materials are well produced based on the quality system of ISO 17034 and ISO 17025. The primary method of measurement using for producing gas standards is conducted and developed in the laboratory in order to ensure international traceability. The mechanism for dissemination of gas certified reference materials is in compliance with ISO 17034. To establish traceable gas measurement, the group has also performed calibration of gas mixtures and gas analyzers by using gas certified reference materials.<\/p>\n

      Furthermore, the group is responsible for transferring specialized knowledge of gas metrology by providing the services to the customer including training course, laboratory consultancy and interlaboratory comparison. All activities are performed to support and maintain national metrology infrastructure of gas measurement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
